The Chesterbrook Tiger Sharks (4-1) ended their summer regular swimming season with a 290-130 road victory over Donaldson Run in Division 1 Northern Virginia Swimming League action.

In the win, double race winners were Katherine Talbert, McKenzie Cory, Emma Maher, Mara Wilson, Ezra Landsman, Maddox Cory and Manu Maher. Single winners were Cameron Parkhomenko, Matthew Rose, Max Maher, Henry Couchara, Nicholas Christofferson, Elan Schiff, Edison Tan, Aidan Soukup, Araz Bhargauv, Lily Wilson, Gabrielle Donnelly, Gabrielle Cohen, Keira Gutierrez, Ashley Shen, Gabby Gallagher, Lilah Gallagher and Jacqueline Furches.
The Highlands Whomping Turtles defeated Old Keene Mill, 168-152, July 13 to finish 1-4 in Division 1.
For Highlands, double winners were Reid Bittenbender, Curan Palmer, Beckett Roth, Charlie Scogna, Mackey Tolar and Wiktor Wyszogrodski. Single winners were Quinn Agostinelli, Carlota Cooper, Gigi Dent, Evan Farley, Carolina Finazzo, Gabriel Hanson, Lucas Hanson, Luke McBride, Annabelle Pearce, Wyatt Russell, Rio Walther and Peter Zemek.
• Other local Northern Virginia Swimming League division champions this summer were the Langley Wildthings (4-1) in Division 2, the Kent Gardens Dolphins (5-0) in Division 3 and the Shouse Village Sharks (4-1) in Division 12. Langley tied with Crosspointe in Division 2.
For Langley, the championship was its first since winning Division 2 in 2021. No individual results were submitted by Langley from its July 13 win.
Kent Gardens last won a division title in 2021 in Division 4.
On July 13, the Dolphins defeated host Little Rocky Run, 293.5-126.5.
Double winners for Kent Gardens were James Lex, Hadley Nguyen, Leo Wu, Sully Yoo, Caroline King, Aaron Kuang, Andy Li, Emma Bui and Sophie Fredericks. Single winners were James Wittman, Anna King, Gloria Kuang, Sloane Nguyen, Libby Bamberger, Felix Charpentier, Lilia Buonforte, James Bui, Tess Pizzamiglio, Emily Liu, Eile Campbell, Miles Bamberger, Bryson Hylton and Declan Nguyen.
The division crown was the second in a row for Shouse Village, which was 5-0 in Division 14 last summer.
In its final meet July 13, Shouse defeated Rolling Valley, 238-182. No individual results were submitted by Shouse Village.
• In other July 13 NVSL action that was reported to the Gazette Leader, the McLean Marlins (0-5) lost to Crosspointe, 234-186, in Division 2; the Vienna Aquatic Club Gators (1-4) downed Lee Graham, 239-181, in Division 4; the Cardinal Hill Cardinals (3-2) topped Virginia Hills, 233-187, in Division 5; the Hunter Mill Sharks (1-4) lost to Springboard, 222-198, in Division 6; and the Great Falls Rapids (2-3) defeated Rolling Forest, 227-193, in Division 12.

For Cardinal Hill, double winners were Ziva McHenry, Mishi Roper, Kayden Chen, Emma Watts and Calvin Butler.
