Arlington police on hunt after several robbery incidents

Suspects remain at large in each case

The Arlington County Police Department is on the case in a number of recent robberies.

• On June 25 at 12:09 a.m., two women entered a business in the 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard with two children, collected items and left the store without payment, Arlington police said.

When confronted by an employee, one of the suspects pushed and spat at the employees, police said.

While information initially given to police by a reporting party indicated at least one of the suspects had a firearm, it was determined none was involved.

The suspects are described as two black females.

• On June 24 at 11:50 a.m., a man entered a business in the 700 block of North Glebe Road, concealed merchandise and attempted to leave without payment, Arlington police said.

The suspect was was confronted by loss-prevention personnel, shoving one of them before exiting the store and fleeing the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported, police said.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, approximately 5’10”-6’0” with long brown hair.

• On June 25 at 3:48 a.m., four juveniles entered a business in the 1100 block of South Hayes Street and began collecting merchandise, Arlington police said.

According to police, one of the individuals made threatening statements toward an employee, who called police. The suspects then exited the store without payment, police said.

The suspects are described as three juvenile black females and a juvenile black male.
