As they prepare for the 2023 varsity high-school football season, the Madison Warhawks worked out during a recent practice on the Vienna school’s home field despite a brief rainfall.
Madison is scheduled to open the season with a non-district road game against the Stone Bridge Bulldogs on Friday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. in Ashburn. Madison is the defending Concorde District and 6D North Region champion. The Warhawks also finished second in the Class 6 state tournament the past two seasons.
