Vienna police officers on Aug. 15 at 10:10 p.m. responded to a report of a disturbance at an apartment in the 100 block of Patrick Street, S.E.
Responding officers located the individual in the area of the 7-Eleven nearby and, upon interaction, observed signs of intoxication.
When police attempted to arrest the suspect, he began to resist before being subdued, police said.
The suspect – a 44-year-old Vienna man – was arrested on obstruction-of-justice and drunk-in-public charges and was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
