FAIRFAX - The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is partnering with AAA Tysons Corner to open a DMV Select office on September 3. The new DMV Select, located at 8300 Old Courthouse Road, Suite 110, is an expansion of DMV's partnership with AAA Mid-Atlantic, marking the third AAA DMV Select.

DMV contracts with local governments and private entities to offer vehicle-only services at DMV Selects. Services available include vehicle titles and registrations, license plates and decals, disabled parking placards, transcripts and more.

"Our vehicle-only DMV offices are truly an incredible option for our customers to get in and out easily and stay close to home," said DMV Commissioner Gerald Lackey. "We are excited to expand this partnership with AAA and to offer another convenient location for our customers in Fairfax."

The new AAA Tysons Corner DMV Select will be open for walk-in service Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Manager Caty Gutierrez has dedicated two windows for DMV customers, supporting the Tysons Corner Customer Service Center.

“We are excited about expansion of this valued partnership to the AAA location at Tyson’s Corner, providing the convenience of one-stop shopping to more customers,” says AAA Mid-Atlantic Distribution and Automotive Solutions Executive Vice President Lynn Miller. “The general public and AAA Members can take care of important state vehicle transactions and attend to their car care, travel and insurance needs all at the same time.”
