The Washington Dulles International Airport station on Metro’s Silver Line has now served more than 2 million passengers since its opening in November 2022, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) announced on June 5.

The Dulles station complements the Blue/Yellow Line station at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, which opened in 1977.

“Taking the train to the plane is the smartest choice you can make,” the transit agency said.
