The McLean area branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will meet Sept. 15 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the McLean Community Center.

The program’s topic, “Gender, Women and Politics: Where Are We Now,” will be addressed by Kathleen Chesnutt, program officer on the Gender, Women and Democracy team at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, and MacKenzie Bills, who ran for the Iowa House of Representatives in 2022 and now works as a philanthropy adviser for the U.S. Agency for International Development.

McLean AAUW meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
