3 now in custody related to body found dumped in Oakton

Fairfax County police have arrested three men in connection with the death of a 47-year-old Fairfax man in Oakton.

On July 20 around 3:04 p.m., county police dispatched officers to the 9500 block of Route 29 in Oakton after receiving a report that a body had been found in a wooded area. A community member who had been walking on a path in the area noticed the victim lying unresponsive.

The victim, Nicacio Hernandez Gonzalez, had suffered trauma to his body and was declared deceased at the scene, police said.

County police detectives subsequently arrested Maldin Anibal Guzman, 27, and Wis Alonso Sorto-Portillo, 45, both of no fixed address.

Detectives from the department’s Fugitive Tracking and Apprehension Unit, aided by the Metro Transit Police Department, Amtrak Police and U.S. Marshals Service, on July 24 also arrested Wilmer Adli Guzman, 20, of no fixed address, in Washington, D.C.

All the suspects have been charged with malicious wounding by mob. Authorities are holding Anibal Guzman and Sorto-Portillo without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Adli Guzman is being held at the D.C. Central Detention Facility and will be remanded to Fairfax County.
