Yorktown High School graduate Niclas Vavra begins his senior year of college soccer this fall.

Yorktown High School graduate Niclas Vavra will be a senior soccer player for the men’s team at Shenandoah University this fall.

In 41 career college games (40 starts) for Shenandoah, Vavra has scored 12 goals (one-game winner) with two assists and he has taken 54 shots. He made his only penalty shots.

As a junior, Vavra scored two goals, had one assist and took 17 shots.

Shenandoah is scheduled to begin its 2023 season on Sept. 1 at a tournament at Catholic University.
