Thieves make off with vehicles from Richmond Hwy parking facility

One vehicle later was recovered in Prince George's County, police said

On Aug. 17 at 7:36 p.m., two men entered the parking lot of a business in the 2600 block of Richmond Highway and entered two unoccupied, running vehicles, Arlington police said.

An employee observed the suspects and attempted to close the gate, police said. One suspect drove off the lot and the other suspect drove through the gate, causing property damage, and fled the scene.

No injuries were reported, police said.

An employee’s personal belongings were inside one of the stolen vehicles, police said.

On Aug. 18, authorities recovered one of the stolen vehicles in Prince George’s County, Md. The outstanding stolen vehicle is described as a white Nissan Rogue with Louisiana license plate N625186.

The suspects are described as black males.
