State GOP chair coming to party picnic in Arlington

Arlington County Republican Committee event to be held July 22
vote-55

Republican Party of Virginia chairman Rich Anderson will be the featured attraction at the Arlington County Republican Committee’s summer cookout, to be held Saturday, July 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Courtland Park Apartments in Clarendon.

Anderson “will provide updates from across Virginia as principled Republican candidates go toe-to-toe with leftist Democrats for control of both the House of Delegates and the state Senate,” Arlington GOP chair Matthew Hurtt said.

The local GOP has fielded candidates in three of the 13 local/legislative races on the November ballot in Arlington, with contenders for County Board and two state Senate seats.

“Arlington voters have a choice in the November election – between the failed Arlington Way status quo where politicians claim to listen to residents then vote in lockstep, and a new way, where diversity of thought and open debate and discourse are encouraged,” Hurtt said.

Tickets for the cookout are $35 for adults, $10 for ages 12 and under, with sponsorship packages available. For information and to register, see the Website at bit.ly/3pEKyiL.
