Police: Pentagon City robber brandishes knife in incident

Second individual was picked up on outstanding warrant

On Feb. 10 at 1:07 p.m., two men entered a store in the 1000 block of South Hayes Street, and one concealed merchandise and attempted to exit the store without payment, Arlington police said.

The suspect was confronted by loss-prevention personnel and brandished a knife before fleeing on foot with the second man.

Responding officers located the pair in the area, police said.

The suspect – 34-year-old Mike Hudson of the District of Columbia – was arrested, charged with robbery and was held without bond.

The second individual – a 33-year-old Suitland, Md., man – was detained and determined to be wanted by the Arlington County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested and charged with two counts of probation violation.
