• The book club at Aurora Hills 55+ Center will meet on Monday, July 29 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss “The Old Man and the Sea” by Ernest Hemingway. [Drop-in; no registration required]
• The 55+ Travel group will travel to Richmond on Monday, July 29 to visit the “Samurai Armor” exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The cost is $30 for Arlington residents, $35 for others. • Practice sessions of canasta will be offered on Wednesday, July 31 at 10 a.m. at Walter Reed 55+ Center. [Drop-in; no registration required]
