On July 30 at 2:03 p.m., a witness notified an employee of a store in the 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard that two individuals were stealing merchandise, Arlington police said.
A second employee located the suspects in the store, who then began to yell at the employee before one suspect attempted to strike the employee, police said.
The employee then left the area to call police, during which the suspects collected merchandise and exited the business without payment., police said.
Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area, yielding negative results, police said.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 21 years old, tall and slender. The second suspect is of unknown gender, 18 to 21 years old, tall and slender.
