The median sales price of condominiums and co-operative apartments across the Washington region during the second quarter of 2024 was slightly higher than the national figure, but the year-over-year rate of growth trailed somewhat.

The median sales price for condominiums in the Washington area for the April-May-June period was $375,700, according to new figures from the National Association of Realtors.

That’s up 2.9 percent from last year.

Nationally, the median sales price of $368,500 for the quarter was up 4.1 percent.

Median sales prices were up in all four quadrants of the nation: up 6.1 percent to $433,600 in the Northeast; up 7.8 percent to $269,700 in the Midwest; up 2.9 percent to $307,700 in the South; and up 8.2 percent to $526,400 in the West.

All 2024 figures are preliminary and subject to revision.
