On Aug. 5 at 9:28 p.m., an officer observed a man passed out on a sidewalk in the 200 block of Cedar Lane, S.E., Vienna police said.
Upon the officer’s interaction with the man, he declined to be treated by rescue personnel, and the officer detected signs of intoxication, police said.
The 46-year-old man of no fixed address was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and was charged with drunk in public.
