A man living in the 1100 block of Redwood Drive, S.E., told Vienna police that between Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 22 at 8 a.m. someone had rummaged through his unlocked vehicle and damaged the LCD screen on his dashboard.
Two stolen purses from another vehicle-tampering incident were left in his yard, police said.
Those purses had been stolen on Aug. 22 between 3:20 and 3:30 a.m. from the unlocked vehicle a Vienna woman living in the 1100 block of Redwood Drive, S.E., Vienna police said.
