McLean residents win appointment to state panels

Gov. Youngkin's office announces raft of appointees over recent weeks

Gov. Youngkin has appointed a number of McLean residents to various state advisory bodies.

Michael Formica, general counsel of the National Pork Producers Council, has been named to the Board of Wildlife Resources. Gloria Marrero Chambers, president of the Greater McLean Republican Women’s Club, and Ann Goettman have been named to the Citizens’ Advisory Council on Furnishing and Interpreting the Executive Mansion. Dr. Joshua Weed, partner in Veteran Ventures Capital and a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, has been named to the Treasury Board.

Juan Pablo Segura, founder and president of Babyscripts, has been named to the Virginia Innovation Partnership Authority. Rachel Sheridan, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, has been appointed to the board of visitors at the University of Virginia.

Anne Marie Lacourse, a global trade industry adviser for Dow Jones & Co. and Sayari Analytics, has been named to the Committee on International Trade of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. Dr. Ted Chambers, medical director of Montgomery Vascular Care, has been appointed to the Renal Disease Council.
