The schedules are set for the 10-team, two-division 2024 Dominion Country Club League summer swimming season, beginning with Saturday morning, June 8 meets.
The league includes the local Riverbend Stingrays of Great Falls and Westwood Whirlwinds of Vienna. Both are in the upper Blue Division, where Westwood finished second to Fairfax last summer.
In that opening week, Riverbend hosts Evergreen from Haymarket and Westwood entertains International from Fairfax in 9 a.m. starts. Trump National also is in the Blue Division.
Riverbend hosts Westwood on June 15 in an all-local meet.
All Dominion teams have a five-week regular season, with a bye the week of July 4. The regular season concludes July 13 with Riverbend at International and Westfield at Fairfax.
The regular season is followed by two weeks of divisional, then individual all-star meets.
The Dominion competition begins a week earlier than the area’s other two big summer leagues – the Northern Virginia Swimming League and the Colonial Swimming League.
Westwood finished 3-1 in the Blue Division and 4-1 overall last summer, with Riverbend going 2-3, 1-3.
