• In other Potomac School sports news, for the second year in a row, the Panthers were the overall champion in both the girls Independent School League and the boys Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference by achieving the best overall league records across all sports.
The MAC awarded the boys program the Directors Cup for the third consecutive year, and the ISL awarded the girls program the James W. Lewis Trophy for the second consecutive year.
This is the first time in 25 years that a co-ed school has won both championships in back-to-back years.
