Pitcher chosen Vienna Post 180's MVP of summer season

Jackson Bourdeau was chosen as the Most Valuable Player for the Vienna Post 180 American Legion baseball team this summer.

Left-handed starting pitcher Jackson Bourdeau was chosen as the Vienna Post 180’s Most Valuable Player for the 2024 season.

In 10 starts, Bourdeau finished with a 7-1 record and a 2.85 earned run average. In 60 innings he struck out 44 batters and walked just 11.

He was the winning pitcher in the championship game of the District 17 tournament. His only loss came in the Legion state tournament.

Bourdeau will play in college at Marymount University in Arlington. He is a 2024 Madison High School graduate, where he  also pitched for the Warhawks during the spring season.

“Jackson was our stopper and he gave us a chance to win every time he pitched,” Vienna manager Nick Good.

Bourdeau helped Vienna finish the summer season with a 21-12 record.

Vienna has been choosing a summer MVP for many years.
