McLean Little League held its annual parade down Westmoreland Street the morning of April 15, followed by an opening-day ceremony at the league's multi-field complex on that same road. Little League baseball and softball players and local high-school players and coaches from the same sports were among those participating in the parade.
Teams and individuals were honored and recognized during the ceremony and first pitches were thrown. Then Little League games were played.
