McLean resident Georgia Thompson recently placed fourth in the high jump and fifth in the long jump at the 10-year-old girls division at the AAU indoor track and field national championships in Virginia Beach.
Thompson leaped 3-feet, 3-inches in the high jump and 12-4 in the long jump.
Thompson is now a four-time All-American, including her javelin-throw finishes each of the past two years.
