“The defensive touchdown definitely helped get us going and were a huge lift,” McLean coach Joe Cockerham said.

McLean receiver Sebastian Carmenates caught five, 11 and 28-yard touchdown passes from Christian McNeil and Nathan Bender kicked four extra points to complete the team’s score.

McNeill, a first-year starter at the position, was 18 of 27 passing for 227 yards and ran for 27 more yards. Carmenates caught six passes for 78 yards, Aidan Reid also caught six for 77, and Logan Blake and Ben Irish caught two each.

For the season, McNeill has passed for 908 yards in four games.
