A staff member at Cedar Lane School, 101 Cedar Lane, S.W., requested assistance from Vienna police on Nov. 3 at 10:04 a.m. concerning a student who had been caught smoking from a vape in the school.
The student allegedly had become disorderly with a security officer and was found in possession of marijuana vapes, police said.
Authorities called a relative to the school to take custody of the student.
