Chelsea Buoye, an employee of Edward Jones in Vienna, was presented with the Robert Leggett Outstanding Service Award during the Vienna town government’s Thrive Awards celebration, held May 8.
Buoye was honored for providing “unparalleled service to business clients . . . especially those who are elderly,” town officials said.
The award was created in 2022 and is named for Robert Leggett, a longtime Vienna volunteer who served as chairman of the Town Business Liaison Committee. The committee cosponsors the awards program in collaboration with the town government’s economic-development department and the Vienna Business Association.
Also at the awards ceremony, several dozen businesses were saluted for more than 20 years of service in the town.
