A resident living in the 400 block of Adam Road, S.E., told Vienna police on May 24 at 4:15 p.m. that a solicitor was in the neighborhood.
An officer located the man in the 300 block of Adahi Road, S.E., and found he was soliciting without a town solicitor’s permit.
Police issued a summons to the 34-year-old man, of no fixed address, charging him with soliciting without a license. Police released the man on his signature.
