The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command has welcomed Majs. Todd and Wilma Mason as new joint commanders, overseeing operations in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

They succeed Majs. Mark and Rhea Dawn Woodcock, who have served as area commanders for the past four years, and recently were appointed to similar posts in Tampa.

The Masons are graduates of the Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta and the Salvation Army’s International College for Officers in London. Their invaluable experience and extensive knowledge of the organization’s mission make the Masons exceptionally suited to lead efforts in the local region, officials said.

The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command assisted more than 100,000 people throughout the local area in 2022 by providing a diverse range of services. For information, see the Website at SalvationArmyNCA.org.
