An employee at Thai Mom, 330 Maple Ave., W., told Vienna police on July 6 at 2:45 p.m. that a man and his juvenile son had entered the business’s back door and begun asking employees if they wanted to purchase an iPhone.

The employee paid for the phone and then realized it was a fraud. The man left the area in a vehicle with fictitious license plates, police said.
