On Sept. 12 at 1:57 p.m., a man reportedly left the 7-Eleven in the 400 block of Maple Ave., E., without paying for a fountain drink, Vienna police said.
When an employee confronted the man outside the store, he threw the drink at him and began walking westbound, police said.
Responding officers found the man outside a bank in the 300 block of Maple Ave., E. The employee did not wish to pursue larceny charges, but requested that police trespass the individual from the property.
During the investigation, officers determined there was an outstanding arrest warrant for the 22-year-old Alexandria man out of Fairfax County. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where the warrant charging a probation violation was served. He was held without bond.
