Officers and detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s McLean District Station are investigating numerous reports of suspicious fliers portraying what police described as bias material distributed in a Wolf Trap neighborhood near Vienna, police said Oct. 13.
Officers are canvassing the area and asking community members to review home-surveillance footage, police said.

Fairfax County police have increased patrols and visibility around the county’s houses of worship and reached out to many faith-based communities. While there currently is no specific threat within the community, police continue to collect additional information about this incident and will maintain a presence to support the faith-based community.
