A bicyclist was traveling eastbound on the sidewalk of Maple Avenue, W., on Oct. 12 at 3:20 p.m. when the bicycle collided with a vehicle exiting from a parking garage, causing the cyclist to fall off the bicycle, Vienna police said.
The motorist stopped and assisted the bicyclist, who advised she was fine and did not require any assistance.
After the motorist left the scene, the bicyclist began to feel some pain and reported the accident to police, but declined to be assessed by rescue personnel, authorities said.
