If your vehicle's battery wouldn't start at any point over the past week, join the club – but after more than a week's worth of frigid temperatures, Northern Virginia is about to see some relief.
The thermometer didn't fall quite as low as some had predicted last night [Jan. 21], but it still proved a bottoming out of temperatures that will rise steadily throughout the week and could, ever so briefly, touch the mid-60-degree mark by the end of the week.
But Mother Nature also will be throwing a good deal of rain at the region starting Wednesday.
