Fairfax County supervisors have authorized the county’s Department of Transportation to install a pair of speed humps along Southwick Street, located south of Merrifield in Providence District.
The project will cost $38,500, which will be derived from the county’s Traffic Calming Program. One speed hump will be placed next to 8819 and 8820 Southwick St.; the other will be located adjacent to 8805 and 8808 Southwick St.
