Vienna police dispatched officers to the 400 block of Center Street, N., on May 19 at 10:21 p.m. after receiving a report about a group of people in the area.
Police located five men near the Washington & Old Dominion Regional Trail and detected an odor of marijuana.
Police issued summonses to two Vienna men, ages 19 and 20, charging them with possession of marijuana. Officers also issued a summons to a 20-year-old Vienna man charging him with distribution of marijuana.
Police released the men on their signatures and they left the area after officers warned them about being in the park after dark.
