A motorist traveling eastbound in the 700 block of Kingsley Road, S.W., on Sept. 1 at 4:45 p.m. reportedly lost control and struck two legally parked vehicles, Vienna police said.
Authorities towed the striking vehicle and one of the parked vehicles from the scene. The second parked vehicle was damaged, but drivable, police said.
Police issued the driver a summons charging texting while driving.
