Vienna police officers responded June 28 at 9:28 p.m. to the report of an intoxicated man threatening customers at Hawk & Griffin, 435 Maple Ave., W.

Upon the officers’ arrival, the man already had left the premises, but police located him nearby.

Police arrested the 40-year-old man with no fixed address and took him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Authorities charged him with being drunk in public, providing false identification to a police officer and assaulting a police officer, and served him with an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.

He was held without bond.
