A motorist was traveling eastbound on Maple Avenue, W., on June 24 at 3:15 p.m. when the vehicle was struck by another traveling northbound on Pleasant Street, S.W., and entering Maple Avenue, Vienna police said.
Rescue personnel transported both drivers to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Police issued the striking vehicle’s driver a summons charging failure to pay full time and attention.
