Carlotta LaNier will discuss “A Mighty Long Way: My Journey to Justice at Little Rock Central High School” on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Alden Theatre of the McLean Community Center.

LaNier revisits the story of the “Little Rock Nine” who integrated the high school in 1957 and “led the nation on a turbulent path that challenged prevailing attitudes, broke down barriers and forever changed the landscape of America,” organizers said.

The event is free, but registration is required. A book sale and signing will follow the presentation.
