Though down from a week previously, the median listing price for homes across the Washington area continues to run above last year.
The median listing price of $617,000 for the week ending May 26 – which includes single-family homes, attached properties like townhouses and condominiums – was up 2.9 percent from a year before, if down 1.3 percent from the preceding week.
Figures were reported by Bright MLS, the region’s multiple-listing service.
