Bishop O'Connell runningback Mikhai Martin had 60 yards rushing for the Knights in its game against Bullis.

The Bishop O’Connell Knights (0-3) lost on the road to the Bullis Bulldogs, 41-0, the night of Sept. 13 in Maryland in non-district high-school football action.

In the loss, Mikhai Martin ran for 60 yards and Scott Anderson and Joseph Williams each caught two passes.

The Knights were missing three starting offensive linemen in the game.

“That made it hard, and we didn’t get much going on offense,” O’Connell coach Todd Sabatino said. “We lost in all facets of the game.”

Bullis (1-1) returned an interception for a touchdown in the contest.

Next for O’Connell is a non-conference game against the nearby Potomac School Panthers (1-1) of McLean on Saturday, Sept. 21 at noon. The teams will be meeting for the first time.
