In Division 7 action of the opening week of the Northern Virginia Swimming League season, the Dominion Hills Thunder Ducks lost to Rolling Hills, 243-177, in a June 15 meet.
Double winners for Dominion Hills were Emma Richard, Alaina Desautels and Nate Ervin. Single winners were Matild Mackskasi, Susie Richard, Skylar Fullen, Berkeley Ryan, James Gallagher, Beckett Langsdale and Louis LoGerfo.
• In another NVSL June 15 meet, the Arlington Forest Tigers fell to Lakeview, 233.5-186.5, in Division 9.
For Arlington Forest, Quinn Bryer, Evan Dickey, Damien Kaczor, Cole Klapmust, Mitchell Klapmust, Eli Martin, Jonah Mohr and Miller Mohr won two races. Single winners were Sophie-Lou Mohr, Anna Dansereau, Tristan Dasch and Alex Seidman.
• On June 15 in the Colonial Swimming League, the two-time defending top division champion Knights of Columbus Holy Mackerels opened their new season with a 247-208 road loss to the Ashburn Village Aqua Jets in Red Division action.
Summer Springer and Will Coleman were triple winners and Elizabeth Pilot, Azmera Gebre and Aubrey Larson were double winners. Single winners were Edith Kuhlman, Savigna Neely Martin, Abby Duffy, Sedona Springer, Zach Black, Jack Parker and Sam Verona. The age 9-10 girls relay of Aubrey Larson, Sedona Springer, Vickie Gammell and Julia Fairchild set team record in 1:11.72 and the boys mixed age relay of Elizabeth Pilot, Zach Black, Will Coleman and Sedona Springer did the same in 1:13.52.
• In another June 15 opening meet in the White Division of the Colonial Swimming League, the Fort Myer Squids lost to host Ashburn Farm, 238-213.
Multiple race winners for Fort Myer were Zachary Berner, Fincher Harper, Peter Sheehey, Culhane Harper, Miles Wright, Aileen Kee, Gabrielle Browne and Sasha Taylor. Single winners were Evelyn Logsdon, Caroline Libscomb, Owen Strong, Henry Stueck and Bruce Truong.
