Vehicle thefts continue to plague Arlington

In one case, four vehicles were stolen from business's parking lot

Arlington police are on the case in a number of recent vehicle-theft incidents.

• On Sept. 9, Arlington police reported that, on Sept. 6, a brown 2014 Honda Civic with North Carolina plates was stolen from the 1000 block of 21st Street South and a gold 2017 Kawasaki ZX motorcycle with Virginia plates was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Columbia Pike, and on Sept. 9, a gray 2012 Hyundai Sonata with Virginia plates was reported stolen from the 6000 block of 9th Road North.

• Sometime between Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. and Sept. 10 at 7:33 a.m., a suspect or suspects entered the garage of a home in the 3100 block of North Quincy Street and stole a 2015 Acura TLX with Michigan license plates and a 2023 Ford Explorer with Virginia license plates.

• On Sept. 10, Arlington police reported that, on Sept. 6, a brown 2014 Honda Civic with North Carolina plates was reported stolen from the 1000 block of 21st Street South and a gold 2017 Kawasaki ZI with Virginia plates was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Columbia Pike, and on Sept. 9, a gray Hyundai Sonata with Virginia plates was reported stolen from the 6000 block of 9th Road North.

• On Sept. 11, Arlington police reported that, a day early a black 2000 Honda CRV with Virginia plates was reported stolen from the 5600 block of 7th Road South.

• On Sept. 11 at 2:55 a.m., three suspects forced entry to a business in the 2800 block of Washington Boulevard, rummaged through the interior and stole four vehicles from the business’s parking lot, Arlington police said.

The stolen vehicles were a white 2015 Nissan Altima, black 2017 Infiniti QX60, white 2017 Infiniti QX30 and white 2012 Infiniti M37x.

The suspects are described as three slim-build individuals wearing dark clothing and face coverings.
