On April 17 at 5:40 p.m., an individual was inside a home in the 5000 block of 7th Road South when he allegedly became agitated, brandished a knife and made threatening statements, Arlington police said.
Arriving officers advised other occupants to leave the premises, then made contact with the suspect, who complied with commands to drop the knife, police said.
The suspect – 42-year-old Gerardo Jimenez Paz – was arrested and charged with attempted malicious wounding.
