Meghan Neary, who served as assistant principal at Ashlawn Elementary School from 2017 to 2023, on Aug. 1 was appointed principal of the school.
Neary began her career as a special-education and then classroom teacher at Carlin Springs Elementary School. She served as the special-education lead teacher and instructional lead teacher, while also mentoring new teachers each year.
For the past year, Neary has served as a math interventionist at Bacroft Elementary School.
