The arrival of 2024 brought the formal merger of the Northern Virginia Affordable Housing Alliance and the Arlington-based Alliance for Housing Solutions.
The aim of the merged advocacy group is “becoming the trusted and effective voice on housing issues in each Northern Virginia jurisdiction,” said Jill Norcross, who will lead the unified entity as its executive director.
“Through the unified model, we can achieve greater outcomes,” added Charles McCullough, executive director of the Alliance for Housing Solutions.
Norcross said that while there will be no immediate changes to existing programs and events, the coming year “is set to be transformative.”
