Gun, drug charges result from stolen-vehicle investigation

Two 20-year-olds and juvenile face charges in Courthouse-area incident

On Aug. 31 at 8:04 a.m., patrol officers located a parked and unoccupied vehicle in the area of 13th Street North at North Courthouse Road that had been reported stolen, Arlington police said.

Further investigation revealed the vehicle was also linked to an armed robbery in another jurisdiction, police said.

Six subjects – four adults and two juveniles – approached the vehicle and were subsequently detained. A stolen firearm was recovered from one of them.

The first suspect – 20-year-old Juma Adams of the District of Columbia – was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a concealed weapon and altering the serial number of a firearm.

The second suspect – 20-year-old Jacori Williams of the District of Columbia – was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A minor was charged with marijuana possession.
