County police report host of burglary incidents

Incidents occur across the county, police say

Arlington police recently reported a number of burglary incidents across the county.

• On April 9 at 7:50 p.m., three juvenile males entered a closed business in the 600 block of North Glebe Street before fleeing on foot. No items were reported stolen.

The incident was reported to police on April 15.

• Sometime between April 17 at 7:30 p.m. and April 18 at 11 a.m., someone attempted for force entry to a business in the 200 block of North Glebe Road. No items were taken.

• On April 18 at 10:08 a.m., a home in the 2800 block of 8th Street South was burglarized. No items were reported stolen or damaged.

• On April 19 at 1:08 a.m., two individuals forced entry into a business in the 2700 block of Washington Boulevard, stealing merchandise and causing damage before fleeing the scene on foot.

The suspects are described as a black male, 5’6” to 5’9”, with a thin build, and a male of known race, 5’6” to 5’9”, with a thin build.

• On April 19 at 1:22 a.m., a resident observed someone walking in his back yard in the 5800 block of Washington Boulevard. The suspect then left the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’8” to 5’10”, with a medium build.

• On April 19 at 3:14 a.m., individuals entered a business in the 1500 block of South Fern Street, caused damage to an ATM and fled with cash.
